Working Together - Update

Aim – to update/refresh knowledge of the key issues in safeguarding Children and Young people

Objectives

• Identify the key changes in Working Togther 2018 and 2020
• Recognise and know how to respond appropriatelyto a range of emerging/current issues
• Considered the changes in Information Sharing 2018.    
• Discussed Lessons Learned via Serious Case Reviews, including No Recourse to Public Funds and hidden men
• Be aware of other safeguarding training that is available
• Have examined Wolverhampton's Escalation Policy
• Have an overview of the current landscape of Wolverhampton

Target Group

Designated safeguarding leads, Designated Child Protection Lead, Named Nurse, Lead Nurse, Named Person, Designated Lead and anyone who take lead responsibility in an organisation for safeguarding children and young people. You must have completed the one day Core Working Together training to attend this refresher.  YOU SHOULD ATTEND AN UPDATE EVERY 2 YEARS.
