Working Together -2 Yearly Safeguarding Leads Update

Aim – Two Yearly update for Safeguarding Leads in orgnaistions of the key issues in safeguarding Children and Young people

Objectives

• Identify the key changes in Working Togther 2018
• Recognise and know how to respond appropriatelyto a range of emerging/current issues
• Considered the changes in Information Sharing 2018.    
• Discussed Lessons Learned via Serious Case Reviews, including No Recourse to Public Funds and hidden men
• Be aware of other safegaarding training that is available
• Have examined Wolverhampton's Escalation Policy
• Have an overview of the current landscape of Wolverhampton

Target Group

Designated safeguarding leads, Designated Child Protection Lead, Named Nurse, Lead Nurse, Named Person, Designated Lead and anyone who take lead responsibility in an organisation for safeguarding children and young people. You must have completed the Core Safeguarding Lead training to be able to attend this update.  YOU SHOULD ATTEND AN UPDATE EVERY 2 YEARS.
