Removal of online sexual images - with help from Childline and the YOTI app

Childline and the Internet Watch Foundation have come together to provide a confidential service where children and young people can request the removal of sexual images of themselves which have been shared online.

As part of that process the child / young person will be asked to:

(a) provide a link to where the image is stored online, rather than send the image itself

(b) verify their identity and age through the YOTI app - YOTI will not store images of the child's ID following the verification process.

To get an image removed - If you are under 18 and an explicit or nude image of you has been shared online, Childine can confidentially help you to get it removed.  Click here for full details from Childline of how to do this.

YOTI app  - download the YOTI app to help you prove your identity and age as part of the removal process and manage your digital identity.
