NEW PETCH CSE 12 yrs and under screening tool

NEW Petch CSE screening tool to assess the vulnerabilities  to CSE of children 12yrs old and under Read More...

The NEW PETCH CSE Screening tool provides a framework for making a sound professional judgement about the level of vulnerability of a young child, aged 12 and under, to CSE and to support early help and intervention.

This screening tool has been devised for use by a range of professionals and agencies for determining levels of vulnerability to CSE for children up to and including the age of 12.

In schools, it should be used for primary aged children and where concerns have been identified for 12 year olds following transfer from primary to secondary school.

For children aged 13 and over, the existing CSE screening tool should be used.
