West Midlands Police is running its ‘Control isn’t love’ campaign throughout December and into the New Year Read More...

The campaign hopes to  raise awareness of coercive control in relationships in a bid to encourage victims who may not previously have realised this is abuse to talk to someone who can help.

As you will no doubt be aware, this period can be the perfect storm for abusive relationships when families spend more time together, finances are strained and drug use and alcohol intake increase. This can also provide an opportunity for police and partners to reach out to victims as another year begins.
