Lunch and Learn sessions - learning from the death of Child G

There are two remaining opportunities to hear about and discuss the learning from the Serious Case Review into the tragic death of Child G.

You can come to either of these remaining two sessions which take place on:

• 25th May from 12.30 to 1.30  at the Gem Centre – click here to book a place
or
• 25th June from 12.30 to 1.30 also at the Gem Centre – click here to book a place

Bring your packed lunch and take the opportunity to meet in an informal multi-agency forum to look at the learning outcomes from this Serious Case Review. This is a chance to consider practice implications and how they apply to your role or setting.

Each session will look at key learning in relation to:
• Domestic abuse and coercive and controlling behaviour
• Families with No Recourse to Public Funds 'NRPF'
• Understanding how faith and belief can influence parenting

These briefing sessions will provide attendees with an opportunity to consider these issues and discuss the implications with facilitators and colleagues from other agencies.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FOOD AND DRINK WILL NOT BE PROVIDED BUT ATTENDEES ARE WELCOME TO BRING THEIR LUNCH TO THE BRIEFING.

Please book your place via the Safeguarding Website www.safeguardingwolverhampton.gov.uk

These Lunch and Learn  events will become a regular feature of the boards' training calendar. Future themes and dates to be decided.
