The Wolverhampton Partnership Exploitation and Missing Hub is delivering virtual safeguarding and exploitation awareness raising training on, the 12th October 2022 from 09.30-11.30am.
The training is to provide you with knowledge and understanding of how to recognise and initially deal with issues around Child/Adult Exploitation. and, aims to equip those working in licensing or the night time economy with the necessary skills so they can spot the signs and act quickly to report them.
This training is:
• Tailored for those working in Licensing and the Night Time Economy.
• Will focus on raising awareness of what exploitation is and how your role contributes to the bigger picture.
• Aimed at protecting you as employees as well as safeguarding individuals form harm.
• To identify those who are being exploited and how to report these concerns through different channels.
• A refresher training which will focus on all forms of exploitation.
We are encouraging all individuals working in Licensing and the Night Time Economy to attend the training which will help you to Identify which individuals might be at risk of harm or are particularly vulnerable. This event will provide you with the skills to distinguish those you come across daily through your line of work who may be at an increased risk of abuse.
